The 2017 FTChinese Annual Forum was held today at the Hangzhou International Expo Center. This is the FT’s tenth anniversary in China. The forum was jointly hosted by the Hangzhou West Lake International Expo Organizing Committee and the British Financial Times Chinese Network. It is one of the most popular and largest forums for the 19th China West Lake International Expo in Hangzhou. The theme of the last dialogue was “Continuous Innovation – A New Way of Retailing”, hosted by Huang Zhen, a special contributor to FT Chinese. Shuhei Aoyama, the founding partner of B.L.U.E. Architecture Studio, believes that our original bookstores, restaurants, and hotels are classified as meaningless, but these categories are becoming more and more blurred, and the original framework is becoming more and more blurred. There is a new and interesting format in Tokyo, which is a combination of hotels and bookstores.
